“Gan Bereshit” (Genesis) is the Chabbad preschool in Goa. It is a unique Jewish preschool whose principles combine between Israel and India, learning and creating, the holy and the secular, and between the earth and the sky. At our preschool we regard this precious time with the children during their most critical developmental years as a significant opportunity to expose them to the realities of the world around them by encouraging them to learn and explore. All the while embracing them with caring and warmth.

We believe in experiential and creative learning by offering the children a wide variety of experiences using natural materials as well as from the kitchen and their everyday lives, and more.

At our preschool, the children’s emotional and physical health is of the utmost importance. Therefore, we ensure their welfare in a calm and pleasant environment and enrich their learning experience using dedicated content.

The educational content at our preschool is in line with those offered in Israel. As such, we believe in didactic enrichment through the teaching of letters and reading as well as English. In doing so, we offer a variety of daily activities.

The staff is made up of local assistants and israeli teachers who all have had experience working at Israeli preschools.

Our preschool consists of 3 groups separated by age.
